Course Projects

Outside of Mathematics and Data Modelling, I undertake many different projects in my course, often in collaboration with other Engineering, Maths and Computer Science students. These range from data science to coding with the focus being split between research and delivering a finished solution.

Focused on determining the nature of certain Audio Feature Extraction methods for a custom machine learning model programmed using Pytorch to best identify emotion over a range of languages.

Course: ‘Introduction to AI’ - 3rd Year

Tools used: Python (Pytorch and Tensorflow), LaTeX

Audio Sentiment Classification

Implementing Goertzel’s Algorithm, a method tone detection, in SYS/BIOS using C, the programming language.

Course: ‘C for Embedded Systems’ - 2nd year

Tools used: Code Composer Studio (C), LaTeX

Detecting frequencies relating to digits of DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-frequency)

My sole individual MDM project where I applied Graph Theory to a military communication network (C4ISR) in order to acertain high-importance and vulnerable nodes.

Course: ‘Mathematics and Data Modelling 2’ - 2nd Year

Tools used: Python, LaTeX

Centrality Measures on a Military C4ISR network
